THE QUIET WITHIN:YIN YOGA FOR THE WINTER SEASON w/ Marie Barranco
Friday, December 5th / 7p / 2 hours / $40
Winter is a season of rest and introspection, making it a perfect time to explore a yin yoga practice.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore the fundamentals of yin yoga, including its roots in Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which considers winter a deeply “yin” time of year. You’ll then be guided through a 90-minute yin yoga practice with floor-based shapes held for a few minutes at a time to gently target the body’s deeper connective tissues and joints.
This practice helps to release tension, quiet the mind, and restore balance.
Accessible to all levels, this workshop is perfect for both beginners and those looking to deepen their connection to yin yoga. All are welcome.

Together we’ll gather by candlelight to honor the turning of the season and set intentions rooted in self-awareness, self-care, and deep self-love.

- Build a storehouse of vitality for the year ahead
Join Suzanne for a soul-nourishing evening of seasonal ritual, restorative āsana, rejuvenating breath-work and mantra, Vedic wisdom, and warm wassail (a celebratory Solstice drink).
