MWL is offering 3 weekly Community Supported classes — all pay what you can. We believe yoga is for everyone. These tools—for the nervous system, the body, and the heart—are powerful, and access to them shouldn’t be limited by socioeconomic barriers.
Community Supported Classes:
- Mondays at 12p — Power + Peace w/ Gabrielle Jane
- Wednesdays at 8a — Some Kind of Love w/ Alyssa
- Fridays at 6p — Some Kind of Love w/ Nora
When you sign up online, you’ll be prompted to contribute what you can.
If you’re a current member, your membership already helps support community care and expanded access.
If you’re a walk-in, you’re welcome to donate via Venmo at the studio.

YOGA, PILATES & STRENGTH TEACHERS
REQUIREMENTS: Thank you for your interest in teaching at Move With Love! We are always eager to bring talented, kindhearted teachers onto our team. Please see our requirements below, and if you meet those requirements, follow the instructions below. Please introduce yourself at the studio in the meantime so we can start to get to know you!
- At least 2 years since completion of a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training or other relevant training Pilates or other movement modalities
• 2 years+ of teaching experience in group fitness
• 500-hour RYT is a plus
• Continued education/trainings/development
• Delivers safe + accessible classes to various skill levels by offering modifications/variations/advancements of shapes so that everyone is included - Welcomes feedback to aid in growth as a teacher
• Strong teaching POV
• Fosters Community and is a team player
• Kind, Reliable, Punctual, Hospitality mentality
• Current Yoga liability insurance
Experience practicing with us at MWL is required so you can be sure our styles are a match and that you have a true desire to teach in our community. You must have taken at least 3 classes in order to be considered for an audition.

LACTATION REAL TALK ~ Prenatal Lactation Baby feeding Class w/ Katy Baker-Cohen of Crescent Lactation Care
Saturday, June 6th / 11a / 2 hours / $60 (per couple)
Katy will help families learn practical tips for some of the most worrisome aspects of nursing and bottle feeding a baby. With this knowledge, families will gain confidence and feel excited for their baby feeding journey.
Common questions about lactation/baby-feeding include:
“How do I know my baby is getting enough milk?” “Will latching hurt?”
“How will I go back to work, school etc. and still make enough milk?”
“Can I bottle feed and nurse my baby?”
Families will also learn when and how to seek additional lactation/baby feeding support in Philadelphia.
Katy’s goal is for parents to feel excited to feed their babies, trust themselves and have practical strategies when obstacles arise. Feeding your baby is a big task and you deserve to be supported and feel prepared!
YOGA MALA ~ A Summer Solstice Gathering w/ Holly + Emily
Saturday, June 20th / 10a / 3 hours / $55
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day and shortest night of the year—a celebration of light, vitality, and abundance. In the yoga tradition, this turning point is often honored through a Yoga Mala: the practice of moving through 108 Sun Salutations as a moving meditation and ritual of transformation.
Join Holly and Emily for this special solstice gathering where we will move, sweat, breathe, and flow through 108 Sun Salutations together—with plenty of options, pauses, and modifications along the way. This practice is not about perfection or pushing through pain, but about intention, resilience, community, and honoring the light within and around us.
After practice, we’ll soften into restorative rest and gather together to nosh and celebrate the arrival of summer.
COMMUNITY HIKE – SUMMER SOLSTICE EDITION w/ Holly
Monday, June 22nd / 12p / 75-90 min / FREE
This June, Move with Love + Camaraderie are coming together to bring our communities outside for an afternoon of movement, connection, and nature in the Wissahickon.
We’ll hike through one of Philly’s hidden gems starting at Blue Bell Park, making our way through the trails toward a little beach near the Kitchens Lane bridge before looping back on Forbidden Drive.
Camaraderie is a down-to-earth and beginner friendly studio in the heart of Ambler. A perfect match for the MWL crew.
Please register ahead of time so we can plan accordingly and create a safe + welcoming experience for everyone. Registered hikers will receive day-of contact info before the event!
Please note: this hike is for adults only — no kids or pets.
A turnaround point will be available for anyone needing a shorter hike.
SOUND BATH w/ Sara Schwartz of Undercurrent Sound Healing
Friday, June 26th / 7:45p / 60 min / $35
For 60-minutes, You will lay in a supported restorative shape of your choice with props. The sound bath begins with grounding and intention setting, as well as restorative breathing that will prepare your body and mind for deep rest. Sara uses voice, singing bowls, gongs, and a variety of other instruments to support you in healing, relaxation, and resetting the nervous system. You will be welcomed back slowly and with care at the end of the hour with time for reflection and checking out the instruments (of course!).
FLOW BACK ~ PRIDE EDITION w/ Holly
Saturday, June 27th / 11:15a / 75 min / $30
Let your freak flag fly. Sweat with pride. Move like everybody’s watching.
A high-energy, open-level class where yoga meets dance floor. Expect flowing vinyasa, playful cardio + HIIT drills, big beats, and a whole lot of unapologetic self-expression. This isn’t about perfection, performance, or “getting it right.” It’s about liberation. Joy. Community.
Taking up space in your body exactly as you are.
There will be flags. There will be glitter. There will be sweat.
