INTRO TO REIKI w/ Alyssa Evers-Tippett
Saturday, May 2nd / 5p / 75 min / $35
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that supports calm, clarity, and energetic balance. Through gentle hands-on or energetic work, Reiki helps release stagnant energy, clear energetic blocks, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Today, Reiki is often used alongside modern medicine and can be found in hospitals, hospice care, and wellness spaces.
In this workshop, we will explore Usui Reiki, founded by Mikao Usui in 1922 after a profound spiritual awakening during meditation on a mountain in Japan.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese characters:
Rei — universal wisdom or spiritual guidance
Ki — life force energy (known as prana in yoga or chi in Chinese medicine)
Together they describe the universal life force that flows through all living beings.
Come learn the foundations of Reiki and explore ways to connect with your own healing energy.
Please bring a journal for reflection and notes.
YOGA DANCE w/ Candace Stevens
Friday, May 8th / 7:30p / 60 min / $25
Come as you are. Move how you feel.
This practice holds space for structured exploration of creative movement, leading into full freedom to dance.
We’ll begin on our mats with a grounded, flowing practice, exploring freeform movement within the foundation of yoga postures (asana). From there, we’ll build into more active, expressive movement with music you can’t help but move to.
We’ll then return to the mat for integration through yoga-based movement, closing with meditation.
SIP + SOOTHE: A Mother’s Day Celebration w/ Holly
Saturday, May 9th / 4:30p / 2.5 hours / $65
An evening to soften, to receive, to be held.
Join Holly for a deeply nourishing blend of yin and restorative yoga designed to help you slow down, unwind, and refill your cup from the inside out. Through long-held shapes, supported postures, and gentle guidance, we’ll create space in the body and quiet in the mind—tending to the places that are often asked to give so much.
This practice is an invitation to shift out of doing and into being. To rest without earning it. To be cared for, just as you are.
We’ll close our time on the mat with a grounding meditation before transitioning into a cozy, joy-filled wine tasting paired with delicious bites—an opportunity to connect, savor, and celebrate in community.
Whether you’re a mother, mothering, or simply in need of some extra love, this evening is for you.
Come sip. Come soothe. Come fill your cup.
