“Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know.”
Do you remember Wiley Coyote? Running as fast as he could off the edge of a cliff. Ahhhh. Pow. Boom. Splat. Again, and again, and again. Ahhhh. Pow. Boom. Splat. Again, and again, and again. Sometimes, life is just like a Loony Tunes episode, isn’t it? An episode that repeats with the same lesson and that lesson will be repeated until it is learned. And every curve ball of surprise that is tossed at us- test us, teach us.
For me this week – “Don’t take things personally, you have no idea what someone else is going through.” This one, I have met many times, and who knows, will probably meet again. In the times we live in, when all mind stuff is heightened and feelings are real big. Be compassionate. Take a breath. See the reminder and be assured- You are doing your best. We are all doing our best.
Stay with Love.
The Blessings Rain Down
Gratitude is pep in our step. A flutter in our chest. It turns a frown upside down.
A tool from Positive Psychology is to write down 3 things that went well and why.
They can be teeny tiny. Doing this daily exercise has a way of reframing our past. A chance to search for the sweet over the sour. It will promote more love, bliss, meaning, connection- all the good squishy stuff.
